    Just to be sure, make sure you repair your tcpip registry entries, and reset the stach, using say, winfix_v2.exe. But I also agree with the firewall issue, sometimes they just wont let go.. I would re-install, then uninstall, the firewall software, then run winfix, and reboot and try again...
