Stop 0x0000007E error after installing Norton Systemworks 2004

I recently installed NSW2004 and got a stop 0x0000007e error and it was associated with naveng.sys . I was told to try uninstalling norton and reinstall. Now I get the following error

Stop 0x0000007E (0xC0000005,0xF8730004,0xF8974C80,0xF8974980)
SAVRTPEL.SYS

I have checked my memory and all is ok and I have not installed any new hardware or drivers. When Norton is not installed, I get no blue screen stops. Somewhere I read it was an issue with Norton and kernel drivers.

Norton, ewww.
With that aside, it is a norton issue, not your pc.(look it up on google)...although its possible that norton screwed something up.
I would say to make sure your pc is updated "all the way", meaning, latest drivers, service packs, etc, before trying again...and nortons site may have the answer for you.
