    no CDR data for queues

Depends what type of Queue. If it's an ACD then certainly in Europe CDR for it is very buggy and you're best off using ACD reporting rather than CDR. Other types of queue check QREC is set to YES in LD16

    CDR Question

Whilst the raw data from the Meridian won't show any dialled digits for the extension, if the CDR app you are using is any good it should be able to associate the extn record with the operator record and transfer the digits over. ie. there is a Start Record with the Operator and Trunk and the...

    Internal Call Detail Allowed

Check ICDA is on LD 10/11/12/27 Internal calls were only available from a certain release of software from Meridian, can't remember what it was though, it was ages back. An L record is indeed an interal record. Have a look at the start of the line of data coming out from the TTY. If all you...

    CDR N records question

It's almost definite that you will not be able to get a record for the intermediate call. Auto attendants basically screw up any chance you have of getting accurate CDR from a Nortel. As has been pointed out if you've got a dedicated route going to the far end LD then you could get remote CDR...

    Total number of calls

Unfortunately it's not as simple as that to compare! You need to have an idea of what you're trying to compare first. If you're trying to compare a straight record count of all calls with other similar sized Healthcare Institutions and they don't have Meridians then what records are included...

    SMDR

What S/W stream are you using. What's a FORMPRINT of your SMDR options assignment? Earlier s/w streams you couldn't get individual operator stats for, later ones you can. You should get records of the format: 03/25 12:16 00:00:10 T101 *004 2800 ATT1X 2402 where ATT1 is in...

CDR connection off a CS1000M Single Group

1, 3 and 7 normally - although some PBXs do need different pin conditions. Don't wire Pin 2 as you don't want to be sending anything back to the PBX. For very high quality cabling and up to a maximum of 9600 baud yep 150ft is your limit, on bog standard cabling you're looking more like 50ft...

CDR no CID on incoming, fine on outgoing.

As long as you've got CDRE package 151 enabled then check CLID is set to YES in LD17

Please.. help me out with this issue about CDRs

1st record is a S(tart) record. Came in on trunk 10 went to extn 6101. The S bit means it was then transferred onwards. 2nd record is a N(ormal) record. Just a straight call from extn 2343, out over trunk 10 with dialled digits 19995567563 3rd record is an E(nd) record. The final point in a...

    Problem CDR

I take it the trunks do have PPM on them? (I don't know about the states but this is quite expensive in the UK and totally unnecessary to obtain accurate costs these days) If so set OPA to YES in LD 16, MTRO to PPM in LD 17 and PCDL to YES in LD 15

Should Call Logging work for ACD skillset calls to 3904 sets?

Have you got QREC set to yes for the routes in LD16?

    meridian cdr

When the CDRE package is equipped, the format DNxxxx is replaced by xxxxxxx to accomodate up to 7 digits

    SMDR Config

In the basic scenario a direct call to the station will show as a N(ormal) record. For a call that has been transferred via the operator, the operator record will show as a S(tart) record and the station record as an E(nd) record. Your call accounting software should be able to mark E records as...

    SDNs into CDR records

Can you give the the data for the record in question, or are you not getting any record at all even against the extension that does answer the call? In theory in the third line of the record you should get an R to indicate presence of redirection after ringing. and if LAST is set to NO then the...

    SDNs into CDR records

You'll have to forgive I won't understand some of the meridian techie terms like FDNs and SDNs. However Meridian CDR isn't that brilliant for recording diverts and call transfers (to be honest the only PABX that really thoroughly records such scenarios is the Realitis) Basically make sure you've...

How to record number of calls

SMDR should record unanswered calls as B records as long as ABAN is set to Yes in LD 16 for the trunks.

How to record number of calls

Unless I'm missing something more basic it's in the SMDR output. If you don't fancy analysing the output yourself there are many packages out there to do it for you, ranging from the basic to the all singing, all dancing depending on your needs and pocket size.

    CDR/SMDR

AFAIK CLID does need to be enabled to display incoming CLI in the CDR as well. However, I'm very much just theory - I've never even seen a Meridian, just know about call logging!

    CDR/SMDR

If you set AXID to YES in LD 15 then you should get it in line 1 of the CDR if you're using the OLD CDR output or Line 2 if you're using the NEW CDR output.
