When an extension calls the operator and the operator places the LD call, on my CDR record I see that the charge is applied against the operator and the extension does not appear. Is there a way to have the extension appear and the charge go against it?

never saw it work on a console

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

You would have to use account codes and put a charge button on the attendant console. Then you would run CDR reports by account code.

I actually think all of our responses might be suspect, as I ponder.

The raw CTY records could prove who dialed what and who hung up when it was all over.

It could be that the CDR ap is the only problem - if it can't interpret the raw data.

Whilst the raw data from the Meridian won't show any dialled digits for the extension, if the CDR app you are using is any good it should be able to associate the extn record with the operator record and transfer the digits over.

ie. there is a Start Record with the Operator and Trunk and the dialled digits the operator dialled. Then there is an End Record with the extension and the same Trunk with no dialled digits. The CDR app should then associate the two records based on the trunk number and copy the dialled digits onto the extn record.
