Did you check the check the Device Manager, BIOS, looked for IRQ conflicts, reinstalled the drivers?

Thanks for the link, there's a lot of useful information in it. The batch file I'm using works great for deleting the index.dat contents but not the index.dat themselves (which is my goal). I have seen other batch files posted on the net that include the command line:

Have you tried uninstalling Stopzilla, and setting the browser to accept cookies? You might also try restoring the registry to a time before you downloaded Stopzilla.
The .cpy extension is a "copy books datafile" extension. For a complete list of extensions see
