If it was me just adjust. Make line associated with company A pool A // make ext 21 the prime set and allow all ext's with that group pool access Pool A "Yes" Pool B "NO" (Best practise as well is to put the ext's in two in 2 different pickup groups Pickup Group1 for company A and 2 for company...
Assuming you mean the Rad was put onto another port and set relocation is off you will need know what new DN is. Make sure the assigned DID line number on the rad is programmed to the appropriate DN. Additionally / may not hurt to make sure the new DN is not associated with hunt groups or some...
Just did an up grade on a BCM50 R1 to R6 today. Patchs you can get free if registered, however upgrades EG R1 to R6 required upgrade kits and key code at a cost which additionally will required the factory image file as well to make it work as and R6.
Hope this helps

Any upgrades, patchs or changes to system in between licence 1 and attempt at 2? Are sequence and key numbers correct? Sounds like a miss match somewhere.
Sound like something like some issues I've have over the years. Follow curlycord // real good start . If all checks out // try hooking butt set to the ata and see if rings, If not maybe try putting the ata on a spare port (keeping the new DN and try. (Sounds like a flakey port) If it ring...
Assuming all these lines are in a rotary and not single analog lines / the display of the main (pilot) number should be displayed on outgoing but is set up by your telco.
Last I heard there still available / still selling them up north here. Would make sure to get get 5.1 though, nmight want the caller ID. Still a great basic starter and chugs along for ever it seems.
Happy hunting
Just my two cents worth. Have done quite a few where cus. wanted 4 lines on, but to date none for five, but if four goes five should work as well.( need the ic though)
The way I usually fly is fire up the set with no lines to start + give it pool a and b access. In your case go to programming...
Got me hooked. In the nam to cics / what version of software was in the cics. If it booted up, it should see it and all the codes. Was also wondering if the cics had another voice mail hooked to it previously (a bench tester).
Just tring to figure out why I,ve never ran across one of these...
WARNING
Have had a couple of customers want this, but if you have a voice mail (CP , Flash Etc). Watch the mail box's, especially call forward when busy. The call will more that likely go to another sets personal voice mail box.
Remembering the pain,is a good teacher.
You bet. Have been upgrading alot of my customers to the "e" and to date have had great success with no major issues. Besides the range with the 7406 , there has been a some issues with inductive / noise around power etc, etc , but also remember the importance of where the base is located is...
Think your best bet is like jerryreeve said. Playing with line restrictions could come back to bite you later on. Usually with the bulk of my customers , I build different filters to apply to different sets according to the need and can be changed if required very quickly.
Lots of Luck
Sounds to me when you get this figured out there should be a award for you . Just my two cents worth. RF is a good possiblity, ground sheild of some sort around system (Maybe) Was thinking about some of our electrcians and thought you have done all. Are the power curcuits dedicated to that...
Good advice on getting a new KSU. If the system is an 8x24 or a 6 16 remember all good things come to an end. (Good but not made to go forever) If you like your customer, dollar wise they would be happier with the new as at least up north here the c6 is almost worth as much as a cics. Not to...
Just a quick thought// afer you check all you connections // check to see if the lines are in a pool group and if so make sure the sets you want have access to that pool group. Just a shot in the dark/ may need a little more info.
I beleive the winner is exmogger. Had the same result some time ago. If you go to a earlier version (eg. 1.7) you should be good to go. On the straight DR5 I don't think it will go , however, I tried 2.0 on a 3x8 with DR5.1 and it did work. If all else fails and you want to prove the 2.0...
senk1s is right on the money. change them and give the access passwords to thoughs that need them. all the others get basic / leave that password alone so these users feel like a phone guys too and make minor set changes (HaHa). Just don't forget the passwords, debugging can be a pain at times.
Rule #1 with old systems like the 8x24 is always back them up as power loss leaves you with a 50/50 chance of keeping the system programing on many units. I have a few customers that discovered the hard way after an outage the system will go to default and more or less hoop a lot of the setting...
