    Open Non-Standard FTP Port

I have a need to open port 31110 for ftp purposes, accessing an outbound ftp site from our internal network. I'd rather not assign it to an internal static address, allowing multiple users to use this port. Any ideas how to go about doing this? Thanks in advance.

Mail forwarding using Exchange - not so simple

It's also possible that your anti-virus is causing the slow-down on messages with attachments, as it's scanning it for viruses. The bigger the attachment, the slower the scan.

I've restored the data files from the MDBDATA folder, and it appears that the data is there in Exchange System Manager. But, when I configure Outlook for the mailbox, there is not data. Any ideas?

    Undefined Mailbox

I've just switched from iMail to Exchange 2000 to manage my domain's e-mail. iMail had an option for a special alias, called "nobody", which would forward e-mail destined for an undefined mailbox to the user of your choice. Is there a similar feature for Exchange 2000? Thanks for your...

    Win2k Adv.Server Networking

Are you using NAT or ICS on your network? How are the clients accessing the internet? If it was me, I'd setup NAT and specify both connections to the 'net.

    Folders Disappearing

You can enable auditing of object access. You'll have to decide if you want to enable both successful or failed, but in your case it sounds like you want successful. Then, you can specify the objects you want to track. Be forewarned that you will get a lot of entries in the event log for this...

    dll Registration

Well, it appears that the dll is still in use, which is why you cannot replace it. If this was used in association with Transaction Server, for instance, you would shut down the components, unregister the dll, replace the dll, then re-register it. Make sure the application that calls the dll is...

    power options problem ????

You should also verify the power options in your systems BIOS. You may have a conflict with the OS settings, and the BIOS is kicking in. I would try turning power management off in the BIOS, and see what happens.

    My win2kPro totally screwed

You should try removing Easy CD Creator and see if your other problems go away. If so, look for an updated version of the software on their web site.
