Norstar Voice Mail 4.0 System Manager Password Loosing Password

you can't delete MB 100 or 102. you can only change or remove an ext associated with it. If you have an ext 100 or 102 you're SOL in the regard of having MB and DN match for that user. If you insist on using 100 range for DNs check out this faq799-4937 Marv http://www.telemarv.ca

    Hunt Group From CCR Tree

I'm not sure where recon was going either. If you check the FAQ's there are ways to provide msg waiting for multiple mailboxes on a set that already has a personal mailbox. Another option is a central phone with answer DN's on all the sets you want to pick up. This will give you the msg...

    Hunt Group From CCR Tree

From my understanding of hunt groups... they don't follow the convention of CFNA/CFB rules. So transfering a line to a hunt group is not the same as calling the hunt group. Its not going to transfer correctly to the voice mail unless you create a mail box for 291 Marv http://www.telemarv.ca

Forward external calls to an external #

To forward a call externally you must as bk says set a route and destination code. Lines must be supervised and your set must be allowed to redirect calls. All of these parameters are set up in system programming. Once they are done to forward your phone to your cell you simply dial...

Sorry I'm in error. Its a fiber NAM that can go to 16 channels. Older copper NAM (Norstar PLus) can grow to a max of 8 channels. As you can see there are many possiblities. So you don't know for sure which voice mail you have... hire a vendor. Marv http://www.telemarv.ca
