The first 1.5's had a nasty habit of crashing without recovery. Nortel determined the boot loader file was the culprit and wrote a v5.21 to replace the v5.19. It seems to me, most of the vm issues were resolved by 2.10.6, Call Center issues aside.

On top of what Perry said, do all you can to get the new carrier to send 3 digits (sometimes the talk about 'stripping 4' 7-4=3). If you change the 'Rec'd Length', it will blow out all your target lines and you will have to rekey all of them back in the night of the cutover. It's not a disaster...
