We have a Norstar KSU/PRI MICS 5. Handsets are M7310. 61 DIDs.

We are switching carriers. I do as much maintenance as I can, and use a local Nortel hardware vendor for important things (like when we switch carriers). They are scheduled to assist in cutover in several weeks. My phone hardware techs are asking the new carrier "how many digits are being passed?". If I could drill down to the right place in our system, I can see how many are currently being passed with our old carrier...

I poked around and found:

System prgrming | Rec’d # length:3

Is this what they're talking about?

On top of what Perry said, do all you can to get the new carrier to send 3 digits (sometimes the talk about 'stripping 4' 7-4=3). If you change the 'Rec'd Length', it will blow out all your target lines and you will have to rekey all of them back in the night of the cutover. It's not a disaster, but someone will be sitting in a chair awhile keying those all back in.......
