Nokia e63 / e75 sip client on ipo

Hi there, not sure if this is of any help, but I had problems with SIP extensions and trunks trying to use RTP ports outside of the 49152 to 53246 set under System-LAN1-VoIP tab. Reading above, speech path problems etc. No audio will happen if they don't try streaming in the same range ay...

    Analogue Terminal Adaptors

I'm using a standard linksys PAP2 over an ADSL link for a warehouse cordless analogue phone running in Christchurch off the system in Auckland. Seems to run really well. It is the only phone/ device on the end of the VPN link most of the time except one PC doing RDP back to Auckland too...

    Upgrade Question 406 v2 3.2(61) to 4.1 (15)

Hi Greg, is it same result from more than one pc with manager 4.1 on it? all the easy things like firewall taken out of the equation? bootp must be ok to see 4.1 avail...? have found manager can need a restart to kick tftp back into life if left too long. anyone else had similar? the initial...

    IPO 500, 5420 and EU24, just got :

checkout marketingtools.avaya.com/knowledgebase and goto the Installation, IP Office, then section F for EU24. Has a good wee diagram. Power is on pins 7 & 8 i think, although no pinouts on that page.. so 2 wire lead only going to give a signal on 4 & 5, with a big air gap on 7 & 8.. Cheers,

4.0.10 Pri Bug and Hunt Group

I haven't tried it, but for those smaller situ's, could the ddi be sent to the primary user WITH multiple appearances, and secondary user has coverage of that user? rather than using groups.. you'd lose hunt group message individuality? ie queue ddi and reception user mailbox all the same...

The new and improved PG is back.

You guys rock.. dunno where in the world ya are? but good to see a sense of humour in an otherwise endless line of problems... that aren't our fault incidentally! I can hear a customer bleating from here..... You've taught me some very valuable bits of time saving info about this product for a...

    technician rates

Jeeez, everyone being coy ay??! Well i'm in New Zealand, and work for myself.. I charge a NZD $35 site visit fee, and $95 per hour. minimum one hour. Not sure bout hourly wage/salary rates though? That's for NEC and Avaya work. i don't distinguish. Most big companies here are NZD$120/ hr upto...

    IPO 500, 5420 and EU24, just got :

It'll be the cable!! hahahha. I've done this and looked like a dork trying to make it work with a 2 wire lead!! In other words, use the 8 wire leads that came with it, and you'll be fine.. I was in too much of a hurry. Less haste more speed. Let us know, I'm sure i'm not the only one who's done...

IP Office 412 Build 4.0(10) Random Reboots

I had a system not long ago that would reboot randomly and voicemail go down indefinitely, and found out that it was the firewall/VPN box giving out DHCP addresses to remote workers that coincided with the Static IP addy of the voicemail server in that case. Could be same thing if that addy...

TFTP dont work on IPOffice 500

I've found that every upgrade ive done on the IP500 with 4.0.X, i've had to go to the bootp entry and check the file is ok, then shutdown manager, restart it and away it goes... There is a timeout on the tftp side of manager.. i can't remember the exact details, but that restarts the timeout. If...

Hiya, long time listener, first time caller... sounds like the IP route in the Manager config.?? an entry for 192.2.0.0 with the gateway being the router 192.168.0.301 and the destination being LAN1 from the drop down.. ? sorry just checking? That private IP address makes me double guess...

    Faster dial connections

We use 0 as delay count in NZ for the new PRA ISDN Lite, the shortcode for our local calls is XXXXXXX; 7 digits for our local calls, then the semi column thing at the end. Then separate entries the same for 8,9,10,11,12 digit numbers etc. Not sure how this will go with POTS lines, but good...

    2 hour freebie voicemail pro

With the 500, it would need the Professional license to have VMPro, as well as the VMPro license. So likely to still work OK in demo mode but not without the Professional Edition license. I haven't had a 500 to try on as yet.. anyone got a system they can remove the vmpro license from and try in...

    Random Email Alerts???

bugger. mmmm Quite right... if it's a real user givin jip then it won't be a network card? It's not a dodgy power supply on the DS module is it? We had a module that only let the phones on the left side of the unit work (DS30) turned out to be the power supply not giving all that it shoulda.

    Random Email Alerts???

As kwing112000 says, there is a DS port plugged into a network card or analog phone somewhere most likely. Customers patch things themselves sometimes and the network card is most likely scenario for making the DS module reset. It'l be a desk that doesn't get used much or something random.!

    Version Conflict???

enable "interact with desktop" in the services applet and watch where the call is going to be sure. Tend to agree with aarenot. How is the call arriving at the AA? Incoming call route VM:AutoAttend to a VMPro module named AutoAttend ? shortcode pointed to Voicemail Node? Is there a transfer...
