Have you considered replacing the G650' with G450's and going PE? This could be recommended as the go forward architecture.
Also, Avaya can extend Layer 2 if your organization has an interest.

Can anyone test this feature?
Our switchboard is using it, but when they're on a call and a bridged appearance rings - they don't have the option to select the bridged appearance they want to answer... It auto-answers, and seems to pick the call that hit their phone first. It seems to work...
Collaboration Environment has this functionality... Rapid Team formation, but they have to be a the latest release of CM though.

I believe the next Release of Avaya Communicator for Android initially will have this capability. Doesn't do any good today---
Could be a good road-map discussion though.

Go with an IP Office Branch 9.0 solution...
Depending on the design, this could be 66% less expensive than the G.4x0 approach.

In our environment, about 95% of the time its the cable from the phone to the wall... We've found that the standard cables that were shipped with the phones don't seem to work that well.

Are you backing up your phones?
Do you have this set on the 46xxsettings file?
## Backup and Restore URI
## URI used for HTTP backup and retrieval of user data.
## Specify HTTP server and directory path to backup file.
## Do not specify backup file name.
## BRURI is not supported on...
On the phone (if it's a 96xx) you should be able to go Menu, Options, Applications Settings and Restore Default Button Labels...
Then on the station form, make this a N
Customizable Labels? n
This will prevent them with the option.
That might help.

You may want to confirm your calling rates in the UK... We did this, and ran into a situation where we were paying $0.03CPM to call the UK from the US, however if you placed a local call in the UK from the office in the UK the rate was higher... Therefore costing us more money - not only CPM...
For expanded you need to have an EMMC in place... Don't forget your AAR entry to route it appropriately to the EMMC.
Hope this helps.

Avaya doesn't typically do these types of changes unless you're a named account and you spend big bucks annually. But if that was the case, then you would already be engaged with them.
Best bet is to contact a BP, but I'm sure you'll still find rates in the ballpark between $175-$350 an hour...
Is the G430 another 'location'? If so type list ars ana location x. X being the location number of that G430...
Then just follow the route pattern to determine the trunk group.

You can remove/add without powering anything off... Just be sure when you type list conf station that the ports don't have anything assigned to them. Then simply unseat it, and reseat your new 2224.

You have to remove the translations that are currently on them. Basically x-port the existing stations. Secondly, you'll have to rewire the ports as well. And lastly, ensure you're using single pair digital phones... 84xx, 64xx, 24xx,etc...

I responded in Definity Systems. You should be to set up which TUI you want the end-users to use. I believe the options are Audix, Aria, and Serenade...

With MM there are options on which TUI you want to use.
Give them the Audix TUI in their COS (I believe that's where the setting is)...
