Hey J Panzer,
It is really exciting what the E-MetroTel guys are doing. I believe I just added you to LinkedIn and we can discuss more.
Thank you,
Joe

Oh Sorry, I didn't understand that you just bought it. I would contact Comtech Phones in Bellvue Washington and ask for Chad. They are a huge supporter of BCM still and for a reasonable price should be able to upgrade you.

I've been able to set up dozens of these sets easily at remote locations, in fact, mailing them to non tech savvy friends and having them install them at home. For one friend, the most difficult thing was him trying to find the right LAN/WAN port on the back of his router to plug the phone...
I will be acquiring a T7406 Cordless unit this weekend and it will be interesting to set it up. I will probably need EMT support to look at it as well.

If you are using Windows 8, make sure you have the latest Microsoft Frame .NET updates. Mine were outdated and the computer refused to open manager. I finally did a full windows update and I was able to get into Manager.

Please let us know how you resolved this when you do.
In order to create 3 Paging zones similiar to the Norstar setup could you:
1.) For Paging Phones: Create a Hunt Group, such as 201. Assign the phones you page in that Hunt Group. Then assign a Shortcode to read:
Code: *611

I know, I can usually spot a confused or scam person miles away....on ebay.
It's almost like his boss says to just put those on eBay but doesn't really care if anyone buys the item or not.
I did get a really good deal the other day.....a box of i2004 phones with Nortel Power Supplies for...
I see confused ads like that all of the time on ebay. The best is someone asking $75 buy it now for an old yellowed Meridian phone with a Non Meridian handset...
Glad I cools bring you a laugh!
She is on my IVR on my UCx system!
Sure is a small world! One Emetrotel guy designed the i2004 phones, another was chief designer on the option 11, yet another was a lead engineer on BCM, while another guy headed up Meridian One, while yet another guy was the...
Hi there Mitel, I also have heard EMetroTel has really good representation by some seasoned former Nortel sales people in Ontario.
The buzz I am referring to is similar to the M2250 but actually the single burst tone that announces a second call on the M2000, M3900 sets. The volume for it...
Thats very interesting Mitel.
A few things always aggravated me about the Norstar....
Lack of Internal Background Music Hold
7 digit limitation on internal CLID
No Call Buzz when a second call comes through
Only 4 ring tones
No Red LED lights for MWI on the original M series sets
Other than...
I found a $35 white 6424 set on eBay where I can make an offer on buying it. New in box.....that's a great looking set.
I love how you can personalize the buttons and they stay in the holders.
I actually was surprised when I stayed at the Rogers Centre Toronto back in 2005 that the phones...
The 6400 sets excelled over the M2000 sets because of their unique softkeys under the display. But if you look at the button layout, even the Red hold button, it's clear they were trying emulate a Nortel M2000 or M5000 set.
