Need a solution for a school system that HAS phones in the classroom that they do not want to ring between the hours of 8am to 3pm but that internal calls to the classroom will ring the extension and phone will have dialtone.

Thanks all

One district I service uses a 2250 console in the office to throw the classroom phones into day/night mode. The classroom phones were DID's on KEY 00 that were defined in a group DND list in LD 26. Day mode - classroom phones went to VM. Night mode - classroom phones would ring. For internal calls - a non DID DN was placed on KEY 01. Works great.

Other districts don't give their classroom phones DID - internals only that can be reached via auto-attendant in CallPilot. But they use a time of day controller to restrict access to outside callers.
