If you aren't currently using the wireless portion of the router, you can turn that off...at least that's the way it is on most Linksys routers....disable wireless Or, like was mentioned, change your SSID, disable the broadcast of it, and enable WEP..

Cisco 7206VXR from an 7500 series

Just throwing out an idea here..but I believe Cisco frame-relay encapsulation defaults to a cisco propriety type of encapsulation...to do universal multi-vendor, you'd need the 'frame-relay encapsulation ietf' command on the physical interface. Connectivity problem - is it the switches?

If it was arp entries, they should eventually age out, or you could manually clear them on the adjoining routers/switches. So, I'm thinking its something else, although I'm not familiar with the Big-IP switch.

I can't remember the exact syntax, but you need to do a 'del flash' and then select partition 2, or 'del flash:2'. That will erase the second partition. Then, you need to combine the two partitions into 1 with conf t partition flash 1 If you do a 'show flash' then you should have 1 partition...

    Cheapest 100Mbps Router

You'll need at least a 2621 if you want 100Mbps ethernet... 2611 only has two 10Mbps ethernet ports. Or a 3620 with an NM-2FE2W....all end-of-life stuff so you should be able to get a good deal on it.

you must be in privileged exec mode to issue those commands... type 'enable'... might ask for a password if one's set, hopefully you know it.

    What router to upgrade to?

I agree with Mike... Plus, it really depends upon what capabilities of the mc3800 are really being employed in its current application. Is it just a t1 link to the internet and ethernet back to the LAN, or are voice capabilities actually being used.
