Hi,

could you give me some hint.

I'm experimenting voice configuration with CISCO 1751 my IOS is version 12.3(6).

it seems that commands voice-port and dial-peer are not recognised by the router (in configure terminal mode).
when using voice-port I get <<% Invalid input detected at '^' marker>>

(I have installed I VIC FXS card on the slot 2 and I have the leds 'in use' on )

What could be wrong?

Michel

either the card you are using is not a VWIC card and/or is not in the right port (can only be used in port 2) or you have the wrong IOS version installed.

Can you see the ports with a simple 'show version'?
If you can't then it's an IOS issue...you don't have the right feature set to support the voice cards...

For the 1750 the correct IOS feature set should be IP PLUS/VOICE.

Hope this helps...

Gabriel

Yeah, PVDM is the key.... I think that's required to do voice in that router, although with the appropriate VIC card
