Cisco 2514 & NIU Question

Here is a bit of a newbie question. My cisco 2514 router is running in 10baseT mode. Is this determined by the NIU that is attached to the AUI port or is this the default of this router?

10BaseT is default on a 2514... no 100BaseT capability.
