Chassis Intrusion Detection
The chassis intrusion monitor can detect whether the computer is opened. The Chassis Intrusion option in system setup displays the status of the monitor.

as stated by sidech and pudda there was a time that pc133 was backward compatible. lately memory manufacturers have stated that their pc133 is no longer compatible with pc100. so your old pc133 is compatible with pc100 but not the newer ones.

Some of the newer laptop ac adapter are auto-voltage capable. Meaning it can work on either 110 or 240. If you look at your adapter, if you see something like this..110-240~, then it is auto-voltage. I have an ibm tp a20m and it is auto-volt. Hope this helps.

you may want to consider checking for the following:
what's the type of your network...10 or 100 ?
what type does your pcmcia network card support ?
are you using the correct dongle and network patch cable ?

i have used a panasonic pcmcia cdrom drive to restore a laptop with a ghost image on a cd. i just used the bootable diskette that came with the drive. what is the brand of your pcmcia cd drive ?
i just have a question regarding the above solution, would it allow someone to boot in safe mode and re-edit the registry settings ?

just a wacky thought(haven't tried it)...will using usb mice going to a usb hub work ? if they are the same model then you only need to install one driver if it is needed.
