Hi,
From ESM there is no accurate way to measure the size of the store, adding up all mailbox sizes etc does not give you an accurate reading (this is alos applicable to isinteg and eseutil).
The reason this is not accurate is thaht using ESM / eseutil /ms etc.. they do not take into account...
Hi Tysonic,
Have a look at the following suggestion, but bear in mind the danger element and try it at your own risk! (disclaimer attached);
In order to allow PDF files to be opened, you have to remove

One thing you should be aware of is that for USGs to work they need to be in a native domain, if you have multiple domains typically you would make the root native and place your USGs there.
HTH,

Can you copy the event and description in here please. I presume you also have several other errors too?

Hi T,
Can you confirm a few things for me, are the mesage you are sending S/MIME encoded?
Do you have a front end server? Is this the OWA box you are using the front end?
On a similar note I take it you are aware of the limitation that you can't have PDF free docs. This is documented in the...
What I would advise doing is removing this mail with MDBVU, this should be on the Exchange Cd and the associated document should explain it's operation.

You are referring to the organisational object security tab, which is hidden by default in Exchange 2000.
You can enable it by creating the reg key discussed in the following article;

Oliver what you want to do is enable tracing etc that will allow you to see the content conversion taking place and the threads handling this work.. i.e exactly what the MTA is doing I presume. You need to enable the bf0 file, if you search on KB using bfo, you should get a hit.
If not let me...

Hi Werner,
I may be misunderstanding this question, but the offline defrag is designed only to reclaim white space, what makes you think that your stores should be decreasing, it could be that your users are just creating and receiving a lot of mail (perhaps you are also being spammed / are...
What I would recommend is that you check the mailbox rights on your boss and see if anyone has been granted "send as" rights.
Also from ADUC have a look on the Exchange general tab (think it's there off the top of my head) and see if there are any delegates ie. does anyone have send...
Hey Brad what was the exact error you saw from the offline defrag, this will have been a JET ERROR prob -700 - 1600 range.
Also what build of E2k are you running?

Hi there,
I do not believe this to be supported, there is a KB on the MS site which discusses the supported ways and methods of placing mail direct into the store but this is typically completed via an API. The reason behind this approach is that manipulation directly on the M: drive (ExIFS)...

I must confess I'm lost as to what the problem is now, it sounds like SBS is working as expected :-s
You really need to get some perfom and check what is going on there, I would expect to see some type of memory leak from somewhere if memory is just disappearing...

Check the following article, I would expect you have configured one of these (more than likely send on behalf of).

Have you installed anything else on the server, such as SQL or SPS?
I belive this is is caused by the MS Search service having being modified / updated. To fix this perform an admin only reinstall.
