I have a new Exchange 2000 server up and running. All appears to be fine except that my DL's that I am testing will not deliver?

I have setup a universal distribution group and mail-enabled it. When I e-mail this group, it does not distribute the mail to the one test user that I have made a member of this DL?

I must not have something flipped on somewhere?

One thing you should be aware of is that for USGs to work they need to be in a native domain, if you have multiple domains typically you would make the root native and place your USGs there.

Thanks Mark.

I have my W2k domain in native. My E2k is not native. We are only under one domain (small shop) but I do have the E5.5 still running. I am ready to turn it off but I am not totally sure how to go about that decommissioning process. According to AD Users and Computers all maiboxes have been moved and I know that my public folders have been moved. I have also told it to stop replicating for about a week now. I just do not know how to break the old server out of the picture and then flip to native. I have a feeling once I am in native that my distribution list will start working. I believe they are setup right, just not in the right environment. Any pointers are greatly appreciated.
