We had this similar problem. If your exts are 3 digits, you must be receiving 3 digits from the telco. You cannot insert any digits in routing to call to the other location
per NORTEL. The 3rd PRI has to be a point to point see below. This is the response from ASK at Nortel
Regarding your inquiry on the following:
In a MICS: I can have 3 PRI's. The first 2 PRI's (in the core) are connected to the public network (DID/DOD). The 3rd PRI (located in Trunk Module...

Regarding your inquiry on the following:
In a MICS: I can have 3 PRI's. The first 2 PRI's (in the core) are connected to the public network (DID/DOD). The 3rd PRI (located in Trunk Module #8), can this also be connected to the public network (DID/DOD)...
DOES THE CUSTOMER ONLY WANT TO OCCASIONALLY RECORD CALLS OR RECORD ALL CALLS. IF IT IS THE LATTER, YOU WOULD NEED A 3RD PARTY SYSTEM. THE CALL PILOT DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH MEMORY TO RECORD ALL CALLS.
make sure everyone logs out of the Que at night. Even if the system is in the correct time for night , if an agent is logged in, it still tries to send to the agent.
when the person that "unrestricted" the phone finishes the call, the restriction goes back on as soon as they hang up.
You would need to use the F68 function for every call made.
In the past we have had to temp. put in a digit in the dialout digits just to get it to take the route and then just delete the digit when we finish programming.
We have several CP150's that have lost everything on the PCMCIA card including what seems to be the operating system or all programming which needs a complete install from scratch (including keycodes). On the units that have lost everything, we had to replace software. Hardware is still good...
When a PRI is ordered, you request the framing. If you are having an issue with it being NI2 (for example). Put in a request to have it changed to NI1 from the dialtone provider. You can change the KSU accordingly. In the past, we have one CO that always has issues with NI2 on a MICS. NI2...
One other thing. If the customer does the F982 option to turn it on, why not program a service mode to do the same thing. Then they only need to press 1 key. Naturally, it can only be done at one phone, but it makes it easier for the person doing it if they can.
I don't think that it will allow you to enter and ALt DN and no MWI ext. If you do not put in an ext., you must turn message notification off or you can not enter the mailbox (from the comp). If it won't give you the option for the Alt DN only, then try to build it from the telephone...
Then it will have nothing to do with day hours. Only when turned on. Again the issue will be that NO ONE will be able to dial any extension when the AA answers. So if the Big Cheese is waiting to talk to his girl, she'll have to call on his cell phone or she will leave him a message and he...
The table is only active when the AA answers the lines. If it does not pick up during the day, then this will have no effect. How do you get the AA to answer at night? If you assign an ext to a mailbox, once you find the name, it will pass it along to the associated phone. It does not amtter...
those 2 numbers exist somewhere in the Norstar. (remember, everything is pre-numbered when you bring it up). Check the Hunt Group DN's (If it is there, chang DN). Also check under maint, port/dn. Enter the DN, it may be assigned to a B2 Dn. If you find it, make sure you change it out of the...
best way to do this with POTS lines is 2 have the centrex feature;line transfer or call transfer added to the line. Then program the external transfer using the link transferin the system (# then the tel. number). Otherwise, when the 2 lines are connected, they may or may not hear each other...
