Best way to audit VPN phones? If they are still in use?

Not that I know of. They only way I know would be to do a "list reg" and look at IP ranges and Firmware lvl.

Headset stops working during the day - Avaya oneX agent

I am assuming it is a USB headset. Check the USB power settings. you may also want to change the USB port the headset uses.

What is needed when decommissioning a CM?

You might be able to get some money for the hardware, but the software is not transferable. And you will not get much if anything. All you want to do is make sure no company information is given away.

    MynaVoice for Avaya CM

I have never heard of that system before. The web site didn't have a lot of information, but it does have some sort of CTI integration. I would assume it using AES as that what that is for. You should contact the MynaVoice Vendor to be sure how it is setup.

avaya: number 1 at the head of vdn

All depends on you dial plan. You can have VDN and extension how ever you want them. But they may point to the same vector or what ever, but they will report as separate numbers.

At home VPN phone not working - any other troubleshooting tips I haven't tried?

I would recommend that you get a DSL line in the office so you can check to make sure the phone work on VPN before you send the home. If the phone is booting up to the ext prompts then you have not enable VPN. Avayaguy23 is correct, the VPN phones need to be on a 192,168,x.x address, and comcast...

Does One X agent work well with VPN? Can One X be set up for a home agent?

We use to have over 300 remote agents setup using one-x agent (on VPN). We had them setup at one point using VPN Hard Phones, and then switch to softphone (or road warrior I think). I agree with dclark1111, the hard part is the agent side internet connection, if it is not good then you will have...

Inbound calls over a specific trunk group

If you have access to EC500 setup your cell phone to be link your extension. Then when you want to trace a call (that hits one of your TFN for example) just trace your extension. then when you make a call to the inbound number you are testing from your cell phone it will show up in the trace, no...

    Remote Coverage Point Loop

This is unlikely to work or at least not very clean. I think you best option will be use dummy extension linked to EC500 setups for the cell number. Then use a vector to forward to dummy extension without coverage. You should be able to loop. Assuming the system pulls the call back. And that is...

Firmware update to 9608 VPN phones over ipsec vpn tunnel

I did this for years with about 300+ VPN phones. it not that hard. I had two HTTP server setup for FW updates one for the VPN phones and one for all the office phones. I would still set up a lab, you just need a Internet connect that not on you office network. We moved away from VPN phones more...

    VPN issues

Let me get this straight, someone told you that VPN is one-way? Hope that was not your network engineer. I agree with “Phoneguy55”, this sounds like a port issue.

    Recordings retrievel

I am not 100% sure on that version, never really had a chance to use it. But I know on the Verint Version on the ACR V12, if the temp. lic. had 1 SN, and the permanent LIc. had another one. then the Permanent one would not be able to find the other SN's recordings, you would have to have the...

    Coverage path question

You need to run a trace on the call. From what you have stated, it going to ring at 5xxx, because that were the vector drops the call. Post the vector, and a call trace.

incoming TFN call over SIP carrier is not going to Agent coverage path

Make user that there are Public-Inkn enters for the Agent ID range with the trunk group for Voice mail.

How to create access code to route calls over new trunk group?

If all you wanted to do is make a test call over those new PRI, then build the Trunk Group, build a test Route pattern that use's the new trunk group. setup in ARS the test number you are going to dial (like your cell phone) and point that ARS entry to the new test rout pattern. You can set up...

incoming TFN call over SIP carrier is not going to Agent coverage path

Do a list trace on the call an see if you get any denial codes. What type of Voice mail system, is it SIP based? (I had a issue like this using Outlook (UM) as the voice mail, and some calls from one company would not go to Voice Mail, we had to change the incoming diversion header at the SBC...

How to create access code to route calls over new trunk group?

There is a lot of ways to do this, but there are question that you need to ask, Why force calls over this new trunk group instead of the current ones? What type of calls do you want to go over this new trunk group? Remember the general user will not remember to enter more digits to use this...

If you are using a vector for this, dont send to a coverage remote, do " route-to number (all the digits you would use to dial the number from a extension, of the number you want to route the call to). with cov y, if unconditionally
