Are you making sure that the phone isn't set to DHCP?
That is all I can think of is that it isn't set a static IP so it isn't keeping the change you are making.

If you are a system manager of the voice mail (can change mailboxes and greetings) then you can go through the system manager options and change the time on the Voice mail. I think it is under "Would you like to change the system schedule?" You hit one for yes and it will say something about...
You need to find out if zero is an actual number, or if it is just forwarded to another virtual number. If zero is an actual virtual number, then make sure it is on the receptionists phone and ringing. Also try the do not disturb and cfa cancel on the operators buttons. If zero is forwarded...
do speaker * 1 speaker; speaker * 2 speaker; then try to set call forwarding.

I don't think the 2000 flashes at all. I know the 2400 flashes when the mute is enabled, but I dont think there is any way to have the softkeys flash when enabled on the 2000; hopefully someone will know a trick to turn them on because it has bit me once or twice troubleshooting.

...in 97 those two numbers get inserted into the command for the console number, and then the button numbers are labeled from 00 to 59.
trans, conf, *, trans, conf, #, 96, recall, 00, recall, speaker (until you see 100 or data error), redial, 97, recall, XX (number from 96), trans, 00 (thru 59...
speaker, dial 43 (default CFB/NA code), and dial the VM pilot number; should clear the problem.

The reason I asked about the Voicemail is because there are several work arounds: transaction boxes for the virtual numbers (AD-8, IM-16, AD-40, AD-64) which can either point to the primeline or to a group box, in the AD-120 you can point a call processor to another users greeting, so you could...
Get a Hub, put the switche and the laptop/pc on the hub (make sure that both the phone switch and laptop/pc are off the network), and try to connect (you might have to specify an IP address in your computer if you use DHCP on your network). If you can connect through the hub, don't put the...
Sounds like the network to/from you phone switch is having some issues. Try to ping the IP address you have saved under the MATWorX profile. Do you know CAT Mode programming? If you do you can look up the IP address of the switch (0B00) to make sure the address didn't change/default.

The better question to ask is: What features do you/your company wish to have? Key systems can be limited by their features, and PBX's don’t have all the Key features. You need to figure out what you/your company need/want from a phone system, and then you can figuratively compare the...
ctvi you caught me with my pants down, completely forgot about the extender, and forgot to mention you have no system features with CFA off-site. I do agree with you about the VOIP.

What you would do is take the users current extension out of command 10 (hardware LEN's) and move the extension to command 11 (virtual LEN's). That way you can still call the user on your phone system (leave the Voicemail box as is so people can transfer out of the voicemail to his extension)...
Good point Ozzie, kinda dropped the ball on that one. Might save some money too: you don't need a hardware VPN for a Softphone, you only need a software VPN.

Do you have an IPLA card installed? If so you need to split FP 3 and build out Virtual Pim 19 and then assign the phones in 19. You will also have to purchase either an IP phone or the IP-R to "retrofit" the Series I phone into an IP phone. Go to command F88 DE 01 DE then step through the...
Is the cross-talk only happening through the intercom?
If doing what Ozzie said doesn't help, check the cabling all the way back to the frame, most cross-talk is created by having bad/loose connections.

Make different numbering plans for different tenant groups. Instead of using 1201 you will then be able to use 1204 and assign the "features" to different tenants. i.e. tenant 01 can do all calls, tenant 02 can only dial outside, tenant 03 can only dial cellphones, etc.

Speaker 62 is the default access code for Name display. The only other way to change the name is through programming. You can do one of two things; either assign the name display function to an access code in the numbering plan, or manually change the name through the switches software. If...
