Dterm IP Save IP address

I need to change the IP address on a Dterm IP connecting to a 2000. I can change the IP but am unable to save the change. Here is what I'm doing
Hold
Transfer
*
#
select option 4 for IP ADDRESS
made change
select ok
Get menu back
press save but the phone doesn't reboot as I would expect it to.
Suggestions?

Are you making sure that the phone isn't set to DHCP?

That is all I can think of is that it isn't set a static IP so it isn't keeping the change you are making.

Found the problem. I had to change the gateway to correspond to the IP address. As soon as I did that I was able to save it.
