I swear it is posessed. My NEC 2000 IPS has yet another new bug. Today no one can press "0" to reach the operator (receptionist) The display says CF 2117 and it just rings.
Any suggestions? Only happens on internal calls.

What is 0?
Attcon/Deskcon or single digit station?
If it is a single digit station what extension does it appear on or where is it suppose to ring???

goes to extension 2475 receptionist with a Dterm 32 iSeries and a DSS console

You need to find out if zero is an actual number, or if it is just forwarded to another virtual number. If zero is an actual virtual number, then make sure it is on the receptionists phone and ringing. Also try the do not disturb and cfa cancel on the operators buttons. If zero is forwarded to another number, make sure the other number is on the receptionist phone and ringing. Also try to clear cfa and dnd on that as well.

You can talk about us, but you can't talk without us.

zero should be forwarded to the real extension of 2475. Right now it is going to CFA 2117 which is the analog extension in my office I use to dail into to the pbx.
I checked CFA on 2475 and there is none. DND is not on either.
How do I check where zero is going to in MOC?

E600>0> this is for CF All

I would guess a user at 2117 accidently dialed the call forward follow me access code. I have seen this many time when this code is left in the default numbering plan.
Going off hook at a station and dialing *70 would call forward 0 to the station I dialed the access code at.
If you are not using this feature you should remove it.

That explains it. I was using my analog phone line to fix a home pc for a staff member. I bet their dial up had *70 set on it.
