I doing some work at an office where the customer had some T sets with colored strips. I dont know if they made them up or the previous installer. But they
sort of stood out compared to just the plain strips. I dont know if this is what you are referring to.
After you plug the set and cap in if you push those four button down at the same time when the cap begins to flash and hold them down.
The cap light will flash for each button in sequence starting at button 1. I cant remember if it programs the locals onto the button or just
initializes the...
It would work for the dial tone on the button, But you wouldn't have a lite or you couldn't put the call on hold. You could probably get the ringer to
work but only on one line. Just put a single line set on the ATA.
Does anyone know of a place that repairs call pilots? I have one where the wrong power supply was plugged into it.
I took the cover off to see if there was a fuse. Theres no fuse but a couple of the components close to the power jack were toast. Maybe its unrepairable. thanks
Yes we only used those blocks for Demarking the lines. Putting two wires on a single pin is only a source of trouble. If you want to have two jumper wires to come off a pin just loop it and don't use your cutting blade on punch down tool use the puchdown without the cutting blade.

You don't hear music when you press the hold button. The person you put on hold should hear the music. Get someone to call you and see if they hear the music.
Brian I replaced the base on 7310 set and put on a matching base that was made by Nortel and it had circuitry in it that you could connect a dial up modem to along with using the set also. Maybe the modem was part of the base It was the only one I ever saw. It was like having two calls. Is that...
The observation pair of the Dees unit ties down as a trunk on the Ksu . By dialing 7 you would access this trunk and be tied into the Dees. All the CO lines that you want to monitor are on the KSU and also tied parallel to the Dees unit. You have codes to move around in the Dees unit. I worked...
Dialing 7 probably accessed a trunk which was the T&R of the observation pair of the Dees unit which is in a trunk group by itself.
All the lines are also tied down on the Dees unit and the selection is made in there.
