Is that the new aloha manager version or your aloha pos version. What is the version that floats around at the bottom of your screen on your front of house terminals?
Your gift cards are not sales until they are redeemed. They are considered a revenue item until the customer comes and redeems the gift card. You haven't actually sold anything simply swapped credit for cash. It is not until the customer comes and orders food that it be comes a sale and then it...
Could possibly be a bug in your software. What version of Aloha POS are you currently on? I can look through release notes and see if that was ever a bug fix or something. Let me know
The benefit of CFC compared to NAM for a single site would be for offsite configuration updates. You don't have to be remoted into the machine to make changes to : items, menus, prices, routing, etc. When completing the external updates the store would have to make sure to close any open...

If you load your zbak you will inevitably be locked out again as with that backup you were locked out to begin with correct?
if you import you won't be locked out anymore. Just a friendly...
BriCon,
Did you restore the database or did you import the database?
When you login after inserting the blank database in new aloha manager did you go to utilities>pos>run import?
if you have the dbf's on your machine write the database in old aloha manager and then drop them in like d:\bootdrv\aloha or whatever your iber directory is. Uninstall NAM, re-install NAM, import the new database in.
I frequently do this when setting up a new site. I have a starter database...
Lol just saw your post on reddit... try transferring the installer file again. This is what causes this issue. The installer package is bad. If you need to download it again from aloha update or try a different ato version.
