Aloha Gift Card eCard

I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to get Aloha eCard amounts to show up as a Gift Card Sale (Sales by Category) on the Sales Report.

Ecard item is set up as a "Gift Card", pricing is set up as the "Item price" of $0.00, and the "Sales/Retail Category" is set up as "Gift Cards." After the card is activated, an amount is asked to be loaded onto the card, and the gift card is sold. However, at the End of Day, the Sales report shows $0 in Gift Card Sales in the "Sales by Category." The amount does show up in the "GC/Rev Items Sold" on the Sales Report.

Is there a way to add ecard sales into the Sales by Category?

Your gift cards are not sales until they are redeemed. They are considered a revenue item until the customer comes and redeems the gift card. You haven't actually sold anything simply swapped credit for cash. It is not until the customer comes and orders food that it be comes a sale and then it is recorded as Gift Card Sales.
