I can't remember the exact syntax, but you need to do a 'del flash' and then select partition 2, or 'del flash:2'. That will erase the second partition. Then, you need to combine the two partitions into 1 with conf t partition flash 1 If you do a 'show flash' then you should have 1 partition...

If you need speed, go with the switch (Layer 3).... if price is most important, go with the router...
