I did an install for an attorney who claimed as long as one party was aware it was completely legal.
I guess he knew what he was talking about???? Either that or he's really brave
I have never don't it, but I know it's not recommended. The minimum PC requirements for VM Pro is 10GHz. It uses 1MB for every minute of messages left, so I guess it would depend on how large your company is. Just to be on the safe side I would install on a seperate server.

1 ext can be assigned up to 7 cover groups.
Create a group with X151 assigned to it and create another group w/x170 in it or the 8 exts either way should work. If he wants calls to overflow automatically when he's away, have him turn on DND

More info would be nice, but you can try adding the whole DID range and extensions. Those DID's/exts. that don't have phones can be added to a calling group that would have a group cover of all the extensions responible for answering those calls assigned to it

Is ext. 100 the assigned as AA? If so it will aways follow her cover rings. I would try assigning a different ext. as AA, one that don't currently have VM assigned to it like a common area (lobby, breakroom, etc.)

Is this coverage for during the day or is it really night service?
If it's daytime coverage, create caller group ex.772, 773, etc. and have group 1 or something beside VM group cover console during the day. Don't make Operator ext. night service ext.
Also, she/he can't have VM and AA at the...
Create a new modem connection (don't detect my modem). You'll need a 9pin on one end and 25 pin on the other with a null modem attached.
You'll log in with access2nam and 1020000, 10020000, 120000, etc. for the pswd.
Hope this helps it's been a long time since I did this. This will let you in...
I just go off the phone with a customer this morning and he claims that it can be done using PhoneManager. I have never attempted to do this myself, but it did sound pretty interesting.
I'll be talking with him again this afternoon, and I'll see if I can get somemore info for you
If you have a trusted number listed then it wont prompt you for password.
Ex.
V8321 or V8888
This can be found within the user under the source number tab.
Also, try changing the SC to:
SC=*93
Telephone#=?U
Feature=VM Collect
Yes, that happen to me and upgrading the software resolve the problem with validating the license. I was running 2.0 and after upgrading the 2.1(24), which was the lately release at the time fixed the problem
I don't know of any way to isolate the two. A caller will still be able to access all names on the system regardless of what AA they call....I would just create one Dial by Name module and put it on both auto attendants.
Sorry I couldn't be more help
