I had to do this a couple of times for all of the backup jobs. I don't know if it is possible to restore the properties of a single job however. This technote touches on this operation.

What type of tape drive are you using? What type of tape are you using and what size? Is it a scsi drive? Is it properly terminated and are your cables good?
One possiblity would be to change the BE service account to use the same account that the exchange server is currently using as its service account. Are there any errors in the event logs pertaining to mapi? You might want to give this technote a shot...
Are you able to map a drive to the exchange server using the service account? Has the email admin made any changes to the exchange server? Do you have proper mapi connectivity? Is the exchange server on the same box as the backup server?
Are you attempting to back up individual exchange mailboxes? Have gone through all the necessary steps? An overview may be found here? http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/249456.htm
Is there a red x next to the restore point? Are you sure there was only one tape in in the backup set?
You might want to look in the catalog directory for the file for that tape and ensure that it is there. One option would be to delete it and then catalog the tape again...
Do the full and diff jobs backup the same machine that the sql database is on? If you create a new job that backs up one or two files on that machine and run it manually does it complete?
What errors do you see in the log of the failed jobs? Are you backing up the same server with the other jobs? Do the jobs pend or fail. More info would be helpful?
I am unable to link my 1605r to an intel ethernet pro 100 card. I have configured the nic to use 10baseT HD as well as auto negotiate. The nic works fine when connected peer to peer with another one of my boxes or directly to my modem. Any suggestions are appreciated.
