Need Old File Selections

Recently I cleared my file selections out on an accidental note. Is there anyway I can retrieve an old file selection based off of old backups that I have?

I had to do this a couple of times for all of the backup jobs. I don't know if it is possible to restore the properties of a single job however. This technote touches on this operation.
