Hello

Are the Ethernet interfaces of the 1605r capable of full duplex? I receive this command is not supported for Ethernet1 when attempting to configure the interface for full duplex the same applies to Ethernet0 as well. I have searched all the documentation and I see no mention of the interfaces duplex specification.
Thanks

Is it an ethernet interface, or a FAST ethernet interface? Ethernet interfaces are 10BaseT - which only does 10Mbps, half duplex.

Only fast ethernet interfaces can negotiate their transmission parameters....

Yeah, Im pretty sure your talking about a ethernet port. E0 and E1 cannot suport 100 full duplex. Usually fast ethernet ports are labeled Fe0,Fe1 etc....

I learn something new everyday. I thought 10BaseT supported full duplex. Is this specific to Cisco interfaces? I noticed that the WIC-1ENET for the 1700 operates in full or half duplex mode.
