Create another user and make it a member of the Administrators group. Log in in as that user and delete the profile (not the account ofcourse) of administrator. You can't delete the profile if you're using it, that's why you got the error probably. Good luck! cheers, hanz.

Little bit more info is needed here. Where are you running the logonscript from? Is it specified in Group Policy or in the useraccount? Windows 98 can't read group policies, so you should fill in the right fields in AD Users & Computers and put the loginscript itself in the Netlogon folders...
