to be honest, i would take few phone and update firmware on them and put them in production and see how new firmware behaves, also i would log a fault with Avaya

once you earth you gateways, dont forget to earth cabinets as well.

are you trunk side recording or station side?
if station side then you wont record as station itself is not on call. when you say it goes to coverage, where does it route to from coverage?
also, have you added the VDN to recorded extension list, this will make that call to VDN record...

where XX is your skill number that routes to voicemail.

do they goto other state physically or just in report on CMS?
if just CMS then CMS is loosing link here, you need to check logs also check connectivity. could be duplex issue on network

thanks for your help, would this let me do multiple calls as iam planning to have around 20 to 30 simultaneous calls. so I was thinking to link directly to CM rather than using SM. if SM is last option then I would setup a trunk rather than station, would that be best way?
