Not all port are active. you are missing the call control ports. do a goggle search on the ports for the call control. if you are not able let me know and I will get them from the Avaya website.

That means you never had IP phones working on the system. without those ports no IP phone would work. Also you will need 3rd party license which will make the phone work like an analog phone. single line only!

The phone is still register with the old system. you will need to De-register the phone and then download the new firmware from the Avaya box. I had the simpler problem when we moved the 1140E phone from a BCM to the IPO. I opened an ticket with Avaya on this issue and found little Avaya...

based on your info, just copy the 9n short code and create a 8n short code. then test. make sure you test dialing the 911, 9911 11. don't hang up, talk to the operator and explain to the operator you need to test dial each code. if you hang up the police will arrive at the door.
you will have to make changes in two places the ARS and the short code. you can either create a new ARS table and short code or just make the change on the ARS and on the 9N. make sure you keep 911, 11, 9911 in the ARS table also. Short code, keep 9n and add 8n or 7n.
Prior to the start make a...
