I have a question for the MVP's that have chime'd in
all good answer's as I work in a hospital too with bout 9000 users.Fortunantly our NUT BALL's are in anoter facility but if they in fact's are NUT's i would think there also pretty smart cause don't you have to dial 9 first???
Trevatwork you are correct about opt11 an grd start trunks . It is very common in older PBX's. Stay on top of TELCO as they seem to Hew Haw around. Everyone has given you some good advice on this thread.
If you go off-hook with a buttset and get a dial tone they are Loop start, If you have to touch your test lead with agrd wire they are grd start. You will probably have to rebuild them as loop not grd.
Buddy I think ATT got you on that one. Yes you would need a system like you have described to make the phone work. And you would need some DEEP pockets too. The question is how many employes will you have etc.Their are a many of small systems made by nortel example an 8x24.I would get your money...
Both John's are correct- you must out the name in LD 95 and then do as a new. If not it will capture both names up to the max limit of 25 char.. Some times you can spell some crazy S### if you know what I mean. On the other hand OTM
to me died 5 yrs ago.

The only problem I've had in the past is the Flash Rom card's in the processor's got jacked up, and the system won't switch over and had to buy new one's.

cause any problems.
