Ok, this one is off the wall but I thought I would ask.
Does anyone know if there is a ring voltage filter that can be bought for POT lines?
I have a customer that bought a call recorder but without help from the recorder company he is supposed to filter the ring voltage.
We know how we...
Ok. I had somewhat of an issue with this before. I did not see anyone else mention it so I hope it works for you.
FCDR in ld 17, PARM is where you can select old or new CDR format.
ld 17;
Req. Chg
TYPE. PARM
BCAP. a...a (speech)or 3.1KHz (speach is default, enter through)
- FCDR (old)
Hope...
Not sure why it does that but I have found that too. I print to file so I have it on disk then print from there. If I don't care about the file too much I deal with the gray background.

Do you have HFA (hands free allowed) in the cls?
Might want to check that before trying another set or showing us the programing for the set to see what else it may be.

Hi.
In the programming for the attendant console, change the ICDR (internal call detail recording) prompt to ICDA (internal call detail allowed) ICDD (internal call detail denied) is the default setting.
Once you do this a L-Record will show in your CDR.
One thing to note, you must have the...
Thanks Bignose21
I know that bouncing the controler may help but I am not even positive that my remote is the cause of it.
Also, I work for people where any service outages are very negative.
Thanks for looking. If and when I do figure it out I will post it.
I have a opt 81 and after having a power issue in one of my remote IPEs I am getting AUD518 when the audit runs in the background. It never goes back to AUD0000.
The message is;
AUD0518
Less than 10 percent of the XMI message registers are in the idle queue.
I have searched every NTP and...
That was a great suggestion.
The port on call did not do it but it was a good idea to look into using the headset jack on the set and checking the options.
By putting the cord in the headset jack instead of the handset jack I was able to go in the options and set the on hook path to the...
I have several 3900s with push to talk handsets (3T-PTT from TWACOMM.com) and there is something odd with their operation.
When the handset is picked up (push to talk not pushed) the set goes to speaker. The user has to push the PTT button, hit line key, then flash hook to connect the call to...
Yes it will work. ICDA on a analog or digital will record internal network calls to your CDR. Incoming and outgoing calls made from the TN with ICDA will go to your report.
On your CDR these calls will have a L designator instead of a N or S.
I use this on several phones that need a record of...
You can also use a store bought usb to db 25 cable to connect to the switch TTY cable (gender benders may be needed). Then select the port used on the Hyper/Procomm program. This works if your com. 1 is in use for something else. Otherwise, like in the above posts; com. 1 is the best bet.
Cant you use a radio speaker output to a ULIC? Then use that route for music. I have never done so but have heard older techs talk about it. It would only help for music though, not RANs.
Make sure that the port on Procomm is set to the port that the laptop is using. Also try E-7-1.
The pin out that I have for a TTY cable (NT8D95AJ) that I know works is;
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,18,20,25 Straight through.
I have around 2000 lines and a majority of the calls go over T-1s. Simple and cheap is what I am looking for. I don't want them to pay more money to get bells and whistles that are not needed. I have found a lot of programs in the last few days but most seem to be a bit “fancy” for what I need...
Ha, is it that obvious that I would prefer not to have OTM?
I am satisfied with procomm and would not mind having OTM but not to do what the customer wants. I think it is a bit over-kill when all I need is a simple program that will put customer information to a CDR. Call length is all they...
Ok, here’s the question. What would the argument be of using Optivity instead of Procomm?
I have only used Procomm, Hyperteminal, TTY terminal to work M1s but my customer thinks it would be a good idea to get OTM or another "user friendly interface". The reason behind this is that they would...
I have the same problems with my loop start COT. WWDT I tried to change to LDR but comes back with
SCH0312
Unacceptable signaling for trunk type.
I have tried almost everything with my COTs and thought I would give the LDR a try.
Without ground start I have to keep an eye on the trunks all...
