I know they are not "supported" but does that mean they don't work?

I am working on training videos for both iOS and Android versions of the one-X Mobile Preferred app and not being an "Android Person" have found the following.
iOS is very swipe gesture oriented where Android seems to prefer clicking.
That being said you can set the "Custom" number on iOS...
I didn't say that they couldn't but I am sure that there are requirements that they must put in place if they intend on doing it. Something that they apparently don't feel is necessary at this point.

The freeware version is licensed as "freeware" for private use only. So I guess you are both right depending on the intended use :-)

We use it everyday for most of our employee base who have a combination of iOS and Android devices.
Have you gone to Settings > Mobile to verify the server URL/Username/Password? The setup of the app on iOS is simpler than it is in Android although it is made confusing because iOS puts app...
I will always suggest hMailServer. It runs on just about any PC, supports relay to the customer's actual mail server including encryption so it works with hosted Exchange and the like (although it can be a mail server in and of itself if you like), adds very nice logging so you don't have to...
Avaya doesn't see Lync as a product that fits into the SME business space and have said so on more than one occasion. The interesting part about that however is that there are hooks into one-X Portal for an external OCS account (yea yea maybe they'll catch the name up someday).
What feature...
Tell one of the two providers to set their CPE to clock off of the PBX and don't take no for an answer. It doesn't really matter which one you set this as so long as the other circuit is providing a valid clock source.
I find that If am start out sweet with these CO repair guys/gals and then...
Avaya has said specifically that they will not address this because of the limits on export of software containing encryption capabilities to certain countries.
If you can find an older PC, preferably one that is always left on you can do this instead...
If you want to find out what devices are on your network and what addresses they have try this tool:

If you have a PC available you can try installing hMailServer which will allow you to eliminate GMX and will give you much better ability to troubleshoot. Doesn't have to be a "dedicated" server/PC nor a very powerful one but should be one that is left on all of the time...
If you can post a trace of the inbound SIP call it will help. Follow this guide and post the results.

By firewall they are referring to needing SSO and IPOSS to access/download.
Regarding upgrades you no longer need an upgrade license and we are told that there will no longer be options to purchase them. Rather they are part of IPOSS and any new versions are included in the offer at no...
We didn't have them in the US before 8.1 either. Now we are REQUIRED to pre-register IP Office customers and do a post-install registration using the web manager and the Global Registration Tool (GRT). The name itself would lead me to believe that this is intended to be a "global" requirement...
That is not how Avaya has presented this to us. Because there is absolutely no software support for any customer/business partner outside of the new IPOSS service offering Avaya is telling us that without IPOSS you have access to nothing from 8.1 and beyond. No upgrades, no patches, no bug...
Wait you are saying that they have two different addresses that are for both inbound/outbound calling and not one for inbound and one for outbound? Why the heck would they do that?

One ARS if fine but you'll need to create two SIP lines if there are two addresses. That is unless I've recently suffered a blow to the head and forgotten something...entirely possible.
