Hi there,
I have the following problem:
I have a router (Repotec RP-IP515H) with a printer port, where I connected my HP deskjet 710C printer to.
Via a shared port I can print to it via my XP machine.
With my laptop with Win2k I can print to it via TCP/IP.
However with my Win98 machine I can...
I tried a few things in the mean while......
- removing damaged registry keys
- defragmentation
- check disk
None of this helped.
After this I killed my virus scanner (MCaffee) and the problem was solved.
I unistalled the MCaffee software and installed Norton AV.
This works great, plus...
Hi,
When you try to call this number, does the phone ring?
i.e. does the phone work.
You could have translation corruption, and then the only way to get it removed is calling avaya csc.
They have an corruption team who can remove the station.
If this is the case. then the phone probebly...
Hi there,
Is there anyone who can tell me what to do about my explorer using 100% of my processor time?
This happens frequently, and is verry frustrating.
I thought I had a fast pc (amd athlon 2000+), but this way it looks like a 386 sometimes.......[thumbsdown]
Thanks for your help in...
What do you think of the Florin package from Pridis?
Take a look at www.pridis.com
Here you can even download a demo, try it!
Hope you like it.

Hi there,
There is no command to list unused extensions, but there is a command where you can see used extensions.......
Do a "list extension xxxx count xxx", where xxxx is the extension number and xxx the number of extensions that you want to list.
When you do a "list...
...a "display feature-acces-codes" to see what the feature acces code is, for "change coverage".
This could be different for your switch. *12 could be set for something else!
If it is not set at all, do a "change feature-acces-codes" and fill in *12 for example...
Instead of doing al of this above, you could also do a 'busy out station xxx' and then a release station xxx', this way the call forward is gone.
It's not the perfect solution, but it's the quickest way if you haven't set up anything like the things above.
Michel.
You should do a 'disp DS1 xxxxx'. On the top right side there is a Name field.
In here youcan write the ID of the modem of the provider, or anything else you want, max. 15 characters long.
Hope this helps!
Michel.
Dit you try capturing the data in Hyper terminal?
This is normally accurate. Our company has a CDR programm based on the output of the Definity.
Could be your programm confuses the positions of the data?
Michel.
If *04 doesn't work, do a 'disp features' in ASA or the SAT terminal. See if there is a other code at 'Refresh Terminal PArameters Acces Code'.
If there is no code, you should add one with 'change system feature-acces-codes'
Michel.
Try the following from another station:
*04 472 #
You should then hear a confermation tone.
Be sure to disconnect the fork, otherwise it won't work!!
Michel.
How do you fill in the phone number?
Normally the Inads number is a direct outside line, so you do not need to dial an extra 0.
This is the way you should have set it up:
MAINTENANCE-RELATED SYSTEM PARAMETERS
OPERATIONS SUPPORT PARAMETERS
Product Identification...
Do you have a step with 'route to vdn xxx with coverage y'? This could also be set to 'n' but it should say 'y'.
Try a 'list trace extension xxxx', where xxxx is the vdn number. Here you can see what route the call is following.
Hope this helps!
Michel.
These are all wise suggestions.
Make sure that you do a 'save announcements', especially when you have a TN750B announcement board. On this card is no memory, so the announcements are lost when power has gone.
Also, unseat the announcement board(s) after power down. Put them back in when the...
