Remove Station

Hi there,

I have a test machine G3si V8, all stations, trunks, vdn´s
etc. are removed. But one Station ext 5000 , who has an busy-ind from another station ext 5001 can not be removed. I got the message "Error encountered, can´t complete request".

I have administered the station 5001 back. I had busied out and released the port´s and the stations, but i can´t remove the station 5000.

Has anyone an Idea ? Have Fun !

Hi,

When you try to call this number, does the phone ring?
i.e. does the phone work.

You could have translation corruption, and then the only way to get it removed is calling avaya csc.
They have an corruption team who can remove the station.

If this is the case. then the phone probebly doesn't work either.

yes the phone rings.
if i take a call with the station 5001, the busy-ind on the 5000 doesn´t come on.

This is a guess... but maybe it has message waiting....
Try the command:
clear amw all 5000

I had the same problem a long time ago and that solved my problem. Althougt we don't use LWC, the extension had 'a message' waiting. I was able to remove the extension after this command. But again, this is a very looong shot.

Can you remove the bridge-app from station 5000 ??
If you do the command : li us ext 5000 (and 5001), what do you get ??

Are you sure that it was busy-ind but not bridge-appr?
Did you setup new busy-indicator on the same button of 5001 ext. where it was early? When you make the same this button must start to work (lit when 5000 is off-hook). After that first try to remove the button in change station form. Then try to remove station 5000, and then remove station 5001.

Hi epalle,

i dont have a brdg-appr from 5001 to 5000, there is only a busy-ind administered.
the command "clear amw all 5000" doesn´t work.
the li us ext command shows me the busy-ind, nothing else.
