CarGoSki,
UGly is not the word for it. but its what they want.
With that being said, I am looking at the subscribers mailbox and I cannot find the MWI station. There is only Secondary Ext. and Covering Ext. Would it be in another section other than the subscribers mailbox?
Hi all.
I am programming a Merlin Magix with a PRI using an Intuity Audix LX for voicemail. The customer has a request that I am not sure how to set up.
They have a D.I.D. range of 4100 - 4199. Most of the extensions are in the 3300 range. They do not want the 41XX D.I.D.'s to ring on the...
I know. I read that. It's just that all the information seems to be accurate. I do everything right, but it still does not work. I am wondering if there is a problem with the OS on the system. It was a rush job and they did not completely test/burn the software.

you will need to setup the voicemail PC as a SMTP relay and send it that way to gmail and it will work

insanity is just a state of mind
Westi... can you expand on how to do that or send me a link? I have tried and tried and...
Well... I have been banging my head against the wall. I have tried all the configurations above, and some unconventional configurations and nothing seems to work. Any other ideas other than.... It Does Not Work?
Ok. The problem here is that the sales person did not sell Server 2003 or 2008 with this setup. The VMPro is on Windows 7 Professional. Is this going to be a problem?
P.S. I should have mentioned that in my first post.
I have been told that the voicemail to email settings will not work with GMAIL services.
Is this correct or has anyone had any success setting up a 3rd party email service to use voicemail to email?
curlycord has it. You have to access it using the serial connection. f983 will work regardless. Or you can just wipe the whole thing. But that's probably not the wisest thing to do. ;)
You might want to try PaeTec too. Although the configuration publication provided by Avaya (unless they have been corrected)are somewhat incorrect, but it works and they are East Coast based.
The customer is already using Skype. He is looking for another solution that basically costs nothing. lol
Thanks for the ideas, but I don't think he is going to be able to do what he want.
Scenerio: Customer, US based, has clients internationally that they travel to very often. Clients data network will not allow a VPN through their network to access the IPO to be able to use PhoneManager/Softphone.
Any other options available to allow use of Phone Manager with incurring a...
In your Primary coverage, what is the 6500? Is that the last 4 digits of the number people call to ring this group? Is 6500 and Adjuct or extention? Is your T1 vendor sending 3 or 4 digits? How is the T1 programmed? Also the 800 number, if not part of the T1 D.I.D.'s might be forwarded to, lets...
There is most likely and adjunct set up with the D.I.D. then coverage buttons are used to create a "group" like effect. What I would do I create a group for this and route it through the AA if possible. I Think you might be able to use a group as a D.I.D. as well. Play around with it by using a...
Also if you identify what the button is programmed as on the ringing phones should give you some kind of indication how it is set up.
Just to add to CarGoSkis' comment: if the button is programmed as a cover button for example. It would tell you what extention it is covering.
I know the newer makes of the 412 can go, but what about the earlier ones? I did a replacement on an old 412 for another customer and it wouldn't take the config file. I had to have Avaya ship me an newer 412. The one they originally sent me was a PCS06, the replacement was a PCS07. Doesn't the...
