Moved a callpilot 100 from one customer to another, reset the database for the new customer via the telset, but I am unable to access sytem through call pilot manager useing the default IP address also used a crossover cable.
The last user of this system did have it connected to their network and I tried to connect with the old address but no luck.

Anyone have any solution for this problem?

If you can’t get in through the methods mentioned above, you might also try installing a protocol analyzer/sniffer on your laptop (Wireshark is a very good free one). Connect your laptop to the LAN port with a crossover cable. Start the sniffer on your LAN NIC, and boot the CP. You should see some packet traffic from the CP that will show the source IP. If you don’t see any packets, try checking (or unchecking) the ‘Capture packets in promiscuous mode’ box in capture options. You may need to play around with it if you’re not familiar with Wireshark, once you know how to use it, it becomes invaluable.

curlycord has it. You have to access it using the serial connection. f983 will work regardless. Or you can just wipe the whole thing. But that's probably not the wisest thing to do. ;)

Wiping the database does not change the IP address. When you tried to connect to the old IP address did you change your PC to be in the same range? In other words, if the Call Pilot is 10.1.0.10 your PC needs to be 10.1.0.11 for example.
