Aloha stops at "Waiting for 200090101 to grind..."
In your iberdir, is there a folder called 20090101 ? It is saying that January 1st of this year won't grind for some reason. To get it to go away, you can add a file to that folder called: gnddbf30.xxx Just make a new text file and name it that (NO .txt extension) or copy one from another...- alohatech2

Both of the issues in this thread may be related to network issues. There may be permissions on the server and terminals that are getting in the way of standard file handling for Aloha. Hey Mitchell, When you say it didn't work for Data, what do you mean? What happened when you tried? Any error messages? Doing the dbup on Data is really more of an extra thorough step. Doing it on Newdata and refreshing should take care of any issues, so this is not making sense right now...- alohatech2

The program having the issue is dbup3, which I didn't think ran when doing a refresh, but I could see why it might. Maybe try running a database upgrade on both newdata and data. Utilities > Database Upgrade. Take the defaults and hit run. Then do it again, but change "NEWDATA" to "DATA" in...- alohatech2

EDC Showing all Credit Card Numbers
The reason there is no information out there about the printfullcardnumber flag is because it was removed from the RKS after PCI Compliance became the standard. It used to be information that was readily provided by Radiant. We are still in the 5.3 family and another way we get card numbers...- alohatech2

Do you have an error message? Touch the screen one time from a floating logo and see if you get a message screen that starts with: "Warning, Errors have occurred." In the mean time, to the world at large, on printer interface drawers, will they get an error message if the cable to the printer...- alohatech2

Radiant/Aloha remote printer problem
The com port settings are in the bios. I would hit the bios of T2 and compare the settings on that com port to the ones on T1. If they are the same, com port failed. Otherwise, there are diagnostic tests you can search for and download. We haven't used them so I can't tell you much more, but...- alohatech2

It sounds like you changed Drawer 1 to work under Term3, when what you need is a third drawer altogether. Leave the T1 and T2 drawers set to those terminals. Add a third drawer.
