I have had gmail accounts that were allowed to connect via less secure methods, but gmail would still force me to login and approve the connection. Meaning I would check the box to allow connections and then have to go to another area to approve the connection once the first connection attempt...
It's a handy feature when you need to customize on the user level. I just don't why the system defaulted to adding that info right from the jump. I don't remember it doing that on previous versions.
No need for a trace or anything fancy. The issue is that there was short code on every user for 9N that was taking over for the system shortcode 9N. For anyone coming along later, I didn't put that user 9N there myself. It was there as part of the default config automatically. I don't know why...
Doing some more testing and I will put up a trace soon. What I have found is that if I dial too fast, the call doesn't work. For example, in Status > Trunk > Trace I will see 934321 if I I dialed 94561234321 quickly. It misses the first set of digits. If I press redial on the phone, I don't see...
My apologies for not understanding...
I can change the javascript no problem, but where is the file to change? It's not the WebMgtEE index.html file. That file provides the menu for web management. I've done full text searches on the SD card contents looking for a file that contains any of the...
Sorry for the double questions...
I have a remote J179 SIP phone. It can dial 9 and an outside number and make a call over SIP trunks. Works as expected.
Same user has IX Workplace installed on desktop.
Dialing 9 and the same outside number, doesn't work. There is no calling number. In...
I looked at that file. The index.html in that folder is the for the self-administration page. It's not the main menu that is ipofficeaddress.com/index.html
When navigating to the ipoffice, it gives a web page with a simple list of available links - Web Manager, Self admin etc.
How do I change that page? I didn't see anything on the SD card. worse yet it encourages indexing (<meta name="robots" content="index, follow">) and it seems to be have been...
If I set the SIP proxy on the phone to be TCP and not TLS, the phone connects. Which is interesting. But the IX Workplace is using TLS and works just fine so I would think that the certificate is ok because IX worksplace is using it. I also don't see the phone trying to download 46xxsetting or...
This is the monitor message I see when the phone tries to connect. I am not sure if the TLS message is a concern or not. Some threads say it is no big and should be ignored, but it looks important to me. Obviously it doesn't like some with TLS, but I don't know where to start.

I've followed the information is this thread but I am still having issues getting this up and running. Banging my head against a wall.

Is there a document from Avaya or somewhere on how it should be setup? I can't find anything on R11.1.

My customers have started asking for transcription of voicemail. Many of the cloud providers offer it as a feature of their voicemail product. Has anyone used a service with the IPOffice to offer transcription?
Thanks
I've found that you have to login to the Gmail account and allow legacy devices (or something like that). Gmail has a security feature that sees the voicemail as unauthorized client and shuts it down. Look for Allow less secure apps in the gmail settings.
I am using iso c110-11.0.4100.11.iso for the installation
VMWare 6.7.0
HP Proliant gl160 gen10
I have the host setup for 64 bit (tried 32 as well) CentOS 6
The installation runs fine. On reboot, I get a kernel pacnic. 'Not syncing - attempted to kill init'
Does anyone have any suggestions on...
So I am on the https://www.avaya.com website. Can anyone tell me where ipoffice information is? Maybe I just don't know where to look. I did figure out how to order a $29.99 per month seat of Avaya IX in two easy steps.
