I've followed the information is this thread but I am still having issues getting this up and running. Banging my head against a wall.
Is there a document from Avaya or somewhere on how it should be setup? I can't find anything on R11.1.
I have the certificate installed and I can get IX Workplace to connect and make calls.
However, pressing the voicemail mail gives the error 'no voice mail number has been entered. see your system admin' I can't find where to put the info. The user has a vm passcode.
The J179 are another story. They get stuck on acquiring service...
The login doesn't seem to actually check the password. If I enter the correct passcode I see
the phone connect in Monitor but then a line about it being destroyed. No other information seems interesting about the phone setup.
(I reset this phone while remote, so it hasn't connected locally first which I know is a requirement for H323/VPN phones. Is it here for this? I don't know.)
