Also you need the "SAVRoam" "Symantec AntiVirus Roaming Service" to be set to automatic. Once you enable this service and the client Roaming it will not take affect untill the clients reboot.
In the Symantec console right click on your server group
then choose "ALL TASKS" then "SYMANTEC ANTIVIRUS" then "CLIENT ROAMING" the options I was talking about are there.
Setup a second server in the same group, then enable client roaming. If you set it to Load Balance and provide the two server names in the boxes all the clients will automatically switch to the least busy server. If one server goes down then they will all move to the other server until it comes...
We have 2500 users and some of them are having issues moving messages to pst files the error is Permission denied but if you keep trying the message will move you just need to move them one at a time and keep trying. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?
I have a user with a 400mb document in pdf format. when you move between pages the memory in use goes up. never down and over time the pc runs out of memory. does anyone have a fix for this?

It has fixed rdp on a few server that I could not connect to even with rdp enabled.
Check the GRC.dat file on the pc. you can open it in notepad
The setting for no password should be:
UseVPUninstallPassword=D0
And this sets the password to symantec (the default)

I had a issue with the server dumping every day that was tracked to Symantec 10. A patch is out for the symantec event service. I would make sure you have that one installed.

I am trying to backup the desktop and a few other folders under each users profile. When I set it to backup c:\documents and settings\%username%\desktop
the default option of my documents is working and backup states there are no errors but the desktop is not being backed up.
