Does anyone know how to disable the password protect when uninstalling Norton Antivirus? I have a handfull of machines when trying to uninstall Norton asks for a password. It lists a parent server and then asks for a passowrd. Not every machine points to the same parent server. Is this a windows issue or a norton issue? Any know how to disable this?

Check the GRC.dat file on the pc. you can open it in notepad
The setting for no password should be:
UseVPUninstallPassword=D0

And this sets the password to symantec (the default)
VPUninstallPassword=S1084A085DC6BD2D755D4D6A7726
