I'd say that's about right but one could say that the 3600 are still medium. They would still be used in large enterprise branch offices and that kind of thing so you're kinda right. Those are all fairly old models though.
Can anybody who's behind an ISA2004 SP2 server do me a huge a favour and see if they can open this page:
http://books.kpl.org/screens/opacmenu_s2.html
I'm just curious to know if I've misconfigured something or if ISA has a quirk that blocks these pages.
Thanks!!
I have a problem where I can't reach specific web sites, instead receiving the HTTP ERROR 403 page:

I'm using the deployment tools to join a 2003 server to an existing 5.5 organization. Everything seems to be going fine, but in the ADCTools.log, after running the verify of step 4, I get a list of users matched, but at the end of the list I get "Warning: The Exchange 5.5 directory still...
Still got the link on my desktop, here you go:

I'm in the middle of doing kinda the same thing, only I have a 5.5 server in a mixed Server2000 Server2003 environment. We'll probably be seeing a lot of each other here in the next couple of weeks 8)
I can tell you off the top that Exchange 2003 won't run in an NT4 domain. You will have to...
A little trick I use when a process runs away like that...right click on it in task manager and set it's priority to low. That will free up the other processes making the computer usuable while you troubleshoot.
I'm having the same problem. As far as I can tell, authentication methods are only an option for web sites, not ftp sites. What am I missing? Publishing \domain\user is unacceptable to me, I need to have people log in as just user.
Thanks!!
Ebay is the most easily accessable. Sometimes you can find a good deal if you do the legwork going to second hand shops etc.
A guy where I work got a fully loaded 3640 for less than $100 at a farm bankruptcy auction. Most bidders didn't know what it was, let alone what it was worth 8)
If you have it hooked up to a PC you can also try arp -a to see if there's an entry for it.
Also a sniffer might find the IP. You'll likely see a lot 802.3 frames coming out of a switch. That will give you the MAC address then you can try an applet to find the IP. There are little program...
Hmmm...I'm just working from memory but I believe those switches have a file called config.text or something like that. Actually, if you've done password recovery you've basically blown away the existing config...just don't restore the file - reset you password and away you go.
Again I'm...
There are two types of DRAM memory in Cisco routers: primary and shared (packet). Primary memory is used to store the operating configuration, routing tables, caches, and queues. Shared memory is used to store incoming and outgoing packets.
So in your case you have:
14336K = primary
2048K =...
