Hi
I have created a FTP site on one of my Windows 2003 servers. The home directory for that FTP site is a folder on the D drive of the same server. THe user that I use to login on ftp has full control on that folder.
Anonymous access is disabled to that FTP site.

When I do the ftp I get the below mentioned error.

530 User <domain\account> cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.
Login failed.

Can anyone help me with this please.

Thanks

Did you remove Basic Authentication and enable NT Authentication?

I hope you find this post helpful.

Where do I do that??

Thanks

In IIS on the Security tab for the site.

I hope you find this post helpful.

I'm having the same problem. As far as I can tell, authentication methods are only an option for web sites, not ftp sites. What am I missing? Publishing \domain\user is unacceptable to me, I need to have people log in as just user.

Thanks!!
